School Tours

Field trips at the Rassbach Museum and Fulton's Workshop allow students to experience the history of Dunn County, and the larger history of Wisconsin, up close. Our tours are designed to meet grade appropriate learning objectives, and promote critical thinking, cooperation, and hands-on learning.
Options for a school tour include:

Standard field trip: Explore the Rassbach Museum with a guided Museum Tour and Schoolhouse Tour (schoolhouse available April - November)

Enhanced field trips: Add on a Museum Lesson, or a Design Challenge in Fulton’s Workshop.

Historical Games (weather permitting)
These classes are 45 - 50 minutes. Only one class can be taken per tour group.

Our staff will help put together a plan to meet your timeline and goals, and your in museum experience will be led by museum-trained guides.

Additional Ideas:
If the weather is good, you can eat lunch in Wakanda Park. Consider visiting the Menomonie Lions Club Game Park next door which features buffalo, white-tailed deer and elk. An educational nature trail helps all ages learn about native trees and plants.
