Research

Are you working on a family tree? Researching your home? Curious and want to dig deeper into a local story? Perhaps we can help.

The museum staff can conduct research, or you can come to the museum by appointment and conduct research yourself. Appointment times will depend on staff availability. The museum archivist will help you locate the information you’re looking for and provide copy services.

Contact the archivist with any questions at registrar@dunnhistory.org or 715-232-8685.

Research and Collection Use Guidelines

  • By appointment only, Tuesday through Friday from 11 am to 4:30 pm.

  • A fee of $10 per hour for members & $15 for non-members will be assessed for research conducted by museum staff.

  • Society members and all students may conduct their own on-site research for free.

Research fees help support our ongoing preservation efforts.
