Our Fifth Annual May Celebration includes:

Our friends from Beaver Creek Reserve, will present an Earth Talk — learn more about turtles and snakes and their diets and habitats. | 1 and 2 p.m.
- General Hardware Border Morris Dance Troupe will demonstrate traditional folk dancing from the British Isles (from the region that borders with Wales called Border Morris, dating back to at least the 1500s). They use big sticks!
- With a lot of water and just a little bit of soap, Steve Russell, aka The Bubbler, fills the air with wonder. Big bubbles, small bubbles, bubbles in bubbles!
- Explore the world of moths and butterflies with Richard Breen. Don't miss his presentation of A Day in the Life of a Monarch | 3 p.m.
- Learn about pollinators and participate in a Monarch Migration activity with Margaret Murphy, UW-Extension educator.

BioBlitz: Explore the museum campus with scientific tools and document your finds!

Make a one-of-a-kind button for your backpack or jacket from vintage magazine pages.

Design and paint a rock and add to Rocky the Rock Snake. Let’s see how long he can get!

Little magic makers can create a Fairy Wand and play lots of make-believe games.
