The Dunn County Historical Society is held the 2nd Annual Caddie Woodlawn Look-a-Like Contest during Downsville Day, August 23, 2008.

The contest looks for “look-alikes” for one of Dunn County’s most beloved historical characters — Caroline Augusta Woodhouse — better known to readers as “Caddie Woodlawn.” Contestants were be judged while walking in the Downsville Day Parade.

Contestants must be age appropriate for each category and are judged on appearance as depicted in the Caddie Woodlawn "story." Participants are encouraged to read the books, watch the movie, and look online for appropriate look-a-likes.
